A first for the entertainment industry: Halfmoon Works, the studio behind fantasy strategy game Solstice Gate, and Whitmore Pictures, producer of the Disney+ series Arcane Watchers, have announced an official creative partnership.
The partnership spans several areas. On the games side, cosmetics inspired by Arcane Watchers characters and locations will be integrated into Solstice Gate via a free update from 15 September 2026. The series will feature references to the game in the form of Easter eggs and shared lore elements woven into its first three episodes of season 1.
The two creative teams first met at the most recent D23 Expo. "We very quickly realised that our fantasy worlds had deep resonances — fading magic, declining ancient orders, artefacts that shift the balance of the world. It felt natural," said James Whitmore, co-creator of the series.
On the Halfmoon Works side, art director Séraphine Müller confirmed that the cross-content "would respect the visual identity of both works without diluting either."
